Well, it's not just about me, Helen Leggatt (chief writer, editor and spellchecker) it's about all four of us including my gorgeous hubby Warren and our beautiful bitches Summer and Amber. We emigrated to New Zealand in September 2004 and have settled in inland Canterbury at the foot of the Southern Alps. We both love our lives here. Good luck with the move! See that greyish line above Waddington on the map you posted, that curls up and round to Loburn...we drove that!
What a lovely place, don't know the town/village/hamlet....hell, this is NZ, it might be a City....but it is BEAUTIFUL there. Great if you can work from home though.
I'm out with some www.kiwibiker.co.nz 'ers to Arthers Pass on Sunday,
will give the place more than a passing glance, lol.
Waddington has about 10 houses in it, so not quite a village! Nearest "shop" (or rather garage!) is Sheffield. Be sure to pop in on your bikes when we're there - I'm working on Woz to get us a trike a la Billy Connelly!!
